V for Victoria
Victoria is a British artist, singer-songwriter and creative producer. 2020 sees her writing and recording her new album with producer Andy Barlow (Lamb, U2, David Gray).
Born in the UK, with Latvian and Canadian heritage, growing up in Zambia and Saudia Arabia, then living in San Francisco, Paris, Stockholm and Goa, India, Victoria's travels have shaped her passion for global culture, unity and diversity. A dedicated Dzogchen practitioner for 10 years, studying with lineage holder Dorje Ziji Tsal Rinpoche, Victoria is inspired to create music for positive change.
Victoria’s career highlights include performing at Sodra Teatern in Stockholm with music legend Quincy Jones in the audience, and being a featured artist at one of Apple Europe's annual events in London, accompanied by guitarist Estas Tonne. A long term collaborator with Hang Massive, she was guest artist on two sold out European tours. Hang Massive have shaped the global handpan music scene, pioneering a successful electronic act and live show. Victoria features on their upcoming release ‘Radius’, as well as albums ‘Luminous Emptiness’ and ’Distant Light’, and is a consultant for their live productions.
At home behind the scenes as onstage, Victoria thrives in creating a show. Having been part of The Roundhouse launch team with iconic collective Fuerza Bruta, she joined production teams at Glastonbury, The Secret Garden Party, Big Chill and Lovebox festivals. Programming Shirley Bassey’s 70th Birthday event at Cliveden House led to working with French street theatre group Royal de Lux, after which she turned to independent music projects, where she has focused ever since.
